Vivek specializes in defining end to end solutions in Data integration domain. Vivek’s background originates from traditional ETL which evolved into solution designing, Data modeling and overall Data architecture & governance.

Vivek was a Vice President in Barclays having responsibility of leading a team of designers and architects in Cards & Payments (CnP) area which involved both issuing and acquiring side of cards business along with consumer & retail loans. His other responsibility was to be lead of control tribe from Data architecture and governance perspective and directly worked with chief Data architect of CnP for governing every project with CnP domain. Apart from point to point integration programs, Vivek has good exposure to regulatory programs like BCBS239, FATCA etc.

Vivek’s technology background is around 16 years and has worked with service providers and captives like Wipro, Nationwide Insurance, Hospital Corporation of America, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse etc.

He has a good understanding of distributive computing and various architecture patterns in defining BigData platforms and integration of the same with existing Data platforms. He also has good knowledge of open source ETL stack including Hive, Impala etc. along with Real time integration like Kafka He also has a solid background on Teradata, SQL, Informatica, Linux Systems & Agile. Vivek also architected an “In House” ETL tool to support Hadoop based development within Barclays.
